We have fitness on the mind as we’ve been considering the cork samples we received from Amorim. In case you missed it, here’s a peak at the samples we shared in last week’s video. We’re now taking some next steps forward with their team to explore the best fit for our product goals.

Behind every great wellness tool is a smart material—and we’re being very intentional about choosing the right one for our upcoming cork rollers.

As we’re considering Amorim’s samples this week, we wanted to share some insights into their company which is one of the world’s leading innovators in cork materials. We found it very cool to learn that they actually partnered on the Google Store in Brooklyn, helping the space achieve LEED Platinum certification through their use of natural cork throughout the design. FYI, LEED Platinum certification is the highest recognition for leadership in sustainable design and construction awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council.

If Google trusted Amorim to lead their eco-conscious design, we want to seriously consider whether they’re the right fit for us, too.

We’re also pumped to share that another highly-respected cork manufacturer has confirmed they’ll be sending us a fresh batch of samples. Soon we’ll get to compare feel, softness, and durability across the manufacturers—because you deserve only the best.
